I Grew up in the home of a Ceramicist, clay played a role in my life from an early age.

Early on I had a passion for fine and delicate porcelain work.

The way clay interacts with its environment fascinates me.

I received a highly commended award for my work in the regional exhibition of Ceramics SA in 2018 and have been chosen as potter of the month for April 2019.

After an absence of 20 years from clay, in which I studied in the USA and work in several different fields and countries. I recently returned to ceramics, bringing with me the experience and influence of my two decades of travel and the different cultures I was able to observe and participate in.

I decided to focus and hone my skill in Nerikomi which is an ancient Japanese ceramic form of agateware. Currently exploring the diversity of colored clays, please feel free to browse my gallery.

There are artworks currently in private collections in the USA, England and the Netherlands and of cause locally in South Africa.

If you wish to view my work please feel free to contact me to make an appointment.
